Happy Halloween

My cute little monsters all dressed up.  The first party was the ward party....

 Thanks to prepared friends, Taylor and I grabbed some "Top Gun" gear for the party.  The boys were, Jake zombie, Luke skeleton, Sam purple Morph, Nate orange morph, Mimi a pumpkin...

 These are our good friends the Galbraiths.  We love them and had to get a picture because every year, it's only Taylor and I basically that dress up.  The Galbraiths jumped on board this year and it was fun to see a few more getting into it!  I think it is really fun to dress up and see what people come up with.  I am kind of stubborn, and because no one dresses up, I want to even more.  Come on people... it's a party!! :)

 Halloween dinner was a meatloaf foot and potato soup in pumpkin bowls.  It turned out yummy.

 Kind of a funny idea, but my kids love meatloaf. 

 And for the night of trick or treating, Luke ended up being the morph, Nate captain america and Sam switched to Hulk.  Good thing we have accumulated a lot of costumes over the years!

 Mimi was seriously the cutest skeleton around.  I LOVED her little pink and black leggins, and can thank Aunt Heather for the cute outfit.

Luke got the shaft on the pumpkin outfit because we were in St. George his first Halloween.  It happened to be when my dad died and I just didn't think to pack the Halloween costume that year!! Darn it.  It was a bad Halloween for everyone.  But this is a cute smiley picture of him at the age he would have worn it. love his chubby cheeks.

GO COUGARS!!

The boys's dreams came true on Oct. 29th.  They spent the evening with Taysom Hill (The BYU quarterback).  Luckily, we have an awesome nephew Mathew (in the wheelchair) that idolizes Taysom. And luckily, Taylor has Taysom in his class. And luckily, he was able to arrange for Matthew to meet Taysom on his birthday.  And luckily, we got to tag along!!! 

 Taysom and his wife Emily might be the nicest people in the world.  Taysom greeted the boys with byu shirts and award dogtags (the players get these tags when they do something well). The birthday boy got the team ball that Taysom was awarded after a great win. They were all in HEAVEN!!

 Then Taysom took the time to autograph EVERYTHING from shirts to flags to footballs.

 Then he spent a good chunk of time just throwing the ball around to the kids.  Nate kept saying, "Taysom, Taysom, Taysom... throw it to me."  I think he just liked to say his name. :)

 Then he took time to show them all of the practice fields, indoor and outdoor.  Then he took them on a tour of the locker room.  Seriously the best night EVER!!

 Look at all those smiles.  THANK YOU TAYSOM AND EMILY!  Emily was just as great as Taysom.  She took Mimi the whole time and actually rocked her to sleep for me.  I love when I am proud of the people my kids look up to.  Taysom Hill is one of those for sure!!!  So glad we will get to cheer him on one more year at BYU.

Who's who?

who is who?  We made it over to "Jakers" to pick out a pumpkin!  They had a fun corn pit and some hay slides the kids loved.   Do you think any of them look a like??

 And  we didn't get Mimi in the corn, but the boys were convinced she'd love to be buried too.

Fall Break

We had one of the best Fall Breaks yet.  I am hoping to re-create it every year for the next few years. We started the day at Corn Belly's a very cheap and whole day entertainment place. 

 There were haunted houses, and corn mazes..

 The corn pits were a favorite to get out of the sun (and make themselves look like sumo wrestlers)

 They had all sorts of little things to climb on and jump on and something for every age. 

 I loved the gunny sack slide.  Super FUN!

 After a full day of fun at Corn Bellys.. we got a good nights rest (well sort of, because we slept in Heber with cousins and that never equates to a lot of sleep), then we headed to Fright Mares at Lagoon.

We love lagoon.  And these cute Zombies loved it too!  We didn't get too many pictures.  I am not good at remembering these things!  Sam was just like the big boys, he loved to go on every ride he could, but was just a little too short for some of the scarier ones.  Nate was happy to stay in kiddie land, but didn't have a buddy.  So Taylor and I took turns going on some sweet rides just for him!

He was so cute.  I just love when the kids are happy.

 Mimi was as good as could be!  She mostly just hung out in the stroller, happy as a clam.

Fall break didn't end there.  After a full 2 days of playing we put a little work in.  We woke up early (again) and participated in the cougar run!  It's a family tradition and were glad to have the Lincoln and Lindsays join in this year.

The boys did awesome in their races.  Sam took first, Nate took second, Jake took Second and Luke tried hard not to pass out with his asthma. :) He was the youngest in his age group this year and still finished in the top 20.  Way to go BOYS!!

Fall Sports

BUSY BUSY... with 2 club soccer teams, 2 flag football teams, and 1 city soccer team.  We barely sat done in the month of September and October.  I love it, and I love it when it's over!  here are a few of my cute boys and their sports.

Luke was the cowboys this year...

Jake was the 49ers and was coached by the great Taylor Nadauld.  He only got upset a couple times. :)  He is such a good coach and is very positive with the boys.  They made it to the superbowl this year, but lost in the last minutes of the game.  A HEARTBREAKER.

The boys messing around.  This time of year, they take a football everywhere and Taylor makes them run plays.  It is times like this I wish they were quadruplets so they could always play on the same teams.  I love to watch my boys having fun with their dad and especially with each other!

We are truly BLEED BLUE in this household.  The script BYU is good enough for me, even though nothing really compares to Script OHIO :)  The Blue OUT game was a hit for everyone, until our favorite player Taysom Hill got injured.  Ruined the whole night (and the whole season).

But, we got a couple good pictures before the bum play.

On top of football, we also did Utah Storm competitive soccer.  Jake and Luke were both on teams.

 We just love Jake's coach and teammates.  He has had a great undefeated season. This is his second year with this team and they are REALLY good.  It's fun to watch.

 Luke played really well this year too.  He was put on a new team, and they all haven't gelled just yet, but we are hoping spring season is better.  I just love watching him when he is hustling and playing hard.

 Sam and Nate

 Oh my cuteness... I absolutely loved watching these boys play and they LOVED it.  They are both so competitive and fun.  Sam was the leader on the team and was so nice to try to pass to everyone and let them score.  I think he scored at least 5 goals every game.  Nate didn't score as much, but he was aggressive and could hold his own.  He is a year younger than all the other players, but I just could do one more sports team this fall and so he played up.  He rocked it!

I was meant to be a mom of boys.  I LOVE watching them play sports.  So much so that I drag the baby all around just so I can watch.  I so hope they continue to love sports.  It's the best to cheer for my boys!!

Of course, we can't forget fishing.  If you are a Nadauld, it has to be on the preferred sports list.  Taylor's dad has sort of spent the last month going fishing with each of his sons.  Notice Taylor is not fishing, he was probably swimming around in the water while his dad fished.  But, going out to some remote stream with his dad has always been something Taylor enjoyed.  I'm glad he got to go this year.  Retirement has been nice for all of us. :)

Even Mimi was having a ball with all the fall sport outings. Thanks to Norma we got her all dressed and ready for the big O-H-I-O games.  SO cute.  Glad to have such great friends from Columbus.
