Luke is 5!

He wanted a star wars party -- And I'm not that creative -- I just made a simple cake with a Luke bobblehead. But it was fun making it. The boys thought it was cool. So, mission accomplished!

Of course, presents are one of the highlights of the party. And The Sparkler Candler was a hit.

Luke's breakfast in bead, sausage, eggs and toast. Luke, we are so glad you are growing up. You seem like you and Jake are twins, we have to remind ourselves that you are a year younger. You love to hang out with your brothers and are making your own friends too. We think you are funny and I love that you are still my cuddle bug and will take naps with me. Happy Birthday!

The 4th and 24th activities!

One of Mine and Taylor's favorite places to go while we were dating was to Payson Lakes. It wasn't quite the same dealing with 4 kids (changing, eating, changing diapers, crying, etc etc) but it was still picture worthy! Here is Jake jumping off the dock.

Sam and Matt in bountiful for 24th of July. There is no place like bountiful to watch the fun fireworks. We will miss going there when they sell the house!

Nadauld Family Reunion

One of our favorite vacations is going to Island park with Taylor's family each summer. This year, we started the week off with a family Triathlon. Since Nadauld means boys and boys me motorized vehicles, the biking leg of the race became the motocycle, atv, portion. Here they are being shuttle to the starting line.

Taylor finishing the biking in 4th place overall. Our sis-in-law Lindsay won the whole thing. She is one athlete!! None of the other sis-in-laws raced, but hey -- we were represented well!! I had to pass because I hurt my foot the week before. I'm already training for next year!!

Proud finishers!!! the third portion for the kids was scooters and bikes. They LOVED it. What a fun way to get some exercise!

Jake was in heaven when Taylor said he was finally big enough to ride the mini motorcycles on his own! On the right is a pic of Luke and Noah -- just hangin' out!

Death Tubing! Something crazy the brothers do. Now, some of the nephews are old enough to join in. Sometimes I'm a little worried that I'm surrounded by boys. They are fun --- but CRAZY!! A cute picture of my boys.

Jake was awesome at wakeboarding! He loves it.

Impressive! What a couple great grandparents my kids are blessed with! Thanks for the awesome vacation! We love hanging out with all of you!

Grandma Great's Funeral

I am so lucky to have known Helen Dyreng.  Everyone who knew her, loved her.  I am glad her legacy lives on through my mother-in-law so I can keep learning from her.  What an amazing family I married into.

All the grandsons were paul bearers. Every on of her grandsons have served missions (15).  And even one of the two granddaughters did too!
