Winter Fun with DEHNERS

So the Dehners are in Utah -- for good.  We couldn't be happier.  So, we got to come up to Park City (where they are staying until they find a house) and go tubing to celebrate Mike and Miles birthdays..

 The boys had a ball.  Sam and Nate just played in the little kid area and eventually Nate fell asleep.. such a sweet baby.  He just goes with the flow all the time.  Some day he's going to revolt, I"m sure!

The dads were pretty happy about tubing too.  The only got miffed when it was me and Amber's turn to go and left them with the littles. :)

Thanks Miles for turning 5 and letting us come play with you guys.  We'll be sad when you get a home and we don't get to party in Park City any more... we are just glad you are FINALLY in UTAH!!

Sam is 2!

 

 We always start with breakfast in bed.  Sam couldn't stay asleep that long, so the boys caught him on the way to the kitchen.  The pancakes are an "S" and a "2".  Not that creative.  So was so excited for his birthday.. he is KIND of starting to get it.  He doesn't talk much AT ALL.. but we still love him to death. :)

 SO glad Grandma came to help make the cake and party a little.  This is a cake idea I stole from Nina, but so cute. And SAM is in love with gumballs, so it worked great for him.

 

 

We invited a few cousins and one of our favorite families (and our only friends here) "the Brostroms" so that Sam could feel like a real party.  It worked.  Thanks Brostroms for making Sam's day!!

This age is so fun, because they LOVE presents, and just about any thing they get is the GREATEST.  SAM.. you are adorable.  We sure love you and your sweet gentle personality.  You were a bit of a handful last year, and I am so looking forward to you being 2.  It's my favorite age of my kids. Soon, you'll start to talk! hopefully.
