The Heaton Reunion in Panquitch

This year's family reunion was in Panquitch, UT.  It is a beautiful little town at the base of Bryce Canyon.  My parents and a couple brothers have a farm in Panguitch.  It's the summer place for the cows.  My brother Kelly planned the reunion this year and so they did it during the balloon festival in panquitch.  We camped, hiked and people watched all weekend. :)

The moon looked 5 times that size in real life.  But it's a cute family photo all the same.  :) This is our first full family picture with Nathan since he was born in April.

What's a Heaton reunion without an outdoor recreational vehicle?

Taylor and Sam on a little ATV ride

Checking out the lake on the panquitch property

Breckon taking the boys for a little ride..

Grandma and the grandkids.  We were all there except Andrea and her littlest girl -- they got the stomache flu. :( fortunately it DID NOT pass through everyone at the reunion.  What luck, but we did miss that cute Ellie.

Gavin and Jake taking a rest from the hike down to the awesome falls.

My spot watching all the nieces and nephews jump off the waterfall.

Taylor convinced me to jump right at the end.  I have to admit -- I was glad I did it!
It was very cool at night the street was filled with hot air balloons.  One old man enlisted all the kids to help get his balloon floating.  You never realize how big the balloons are in the air.  But they are HUGE up close.

We spent the whole night people watching and balloon watching.  What a fun reunion.  Thanks Heidi and Kelly for planning.  We loved it!

Bar 10 fun

My boys were So Excited to go to Bar 10.  They love it there, especially when Gavin gets to come.  All boys --- Cowboys!

Bar 10 is a little boys heaven!!

A little exhausted

Sam and Grandma on a ranger ride

Jake and his canteen he bought from the "Trading Post"

Sam was a little too nervous to get on the horse -- but was happy to pet him from the ground.

Even mom gets to ride for fun.

Luke's pretty excited to ride by himself.
Three cute cowboys
The finale -- "the River"

Jake was a hit on the program.  The guests all wanted pictures of him.

Grandma with Nate -- during the program

Thanks Uncle Gavin for letting us go for a ride!

St. George Visit

Swim lessons in St. George.  Sam and Nate really enjoyed it. :)

They passed again with flying colors.  These boys are little fish -- or children of Taylor.  All the same around here.
We got to visit with Grandma Hafen several times.  Her house is always fun for the kids.  We sure love seeing her.  Not many people can say their 98 year old grandma can still remember their names!!  She is amazing.

Grandma and Nate -- she's got the magic touch.

Sweet Nate

We love Grandma Hafen

"Deer Pastures" the Heber House

The Ground BREAKING!
It should be ready in just a few short months.  We can't wait!

Grandma and Grandpa taking the first digs.  We all got a chance with the golden shovels.  Can't wait to post progress pictures!

We had some four wheelers and motorcycles to play around on the massive property.  A little taste of what to come.  Here is Sam with his helmet and ready to go!

Let the Summer Begin!

What is summer without a lemonade stand!  So glad we have cousins close to share in the fun.  Kate was so nice she didn't even take any payment for the work!  Jake was okay with that -- of course (he is such a money lover!!)
Art City Days is the best fair all year.  The kids had a blast on family night.  Every ride's a dollar!!

Sam on the carousel.

Not a good picture -- but a fun gunny sack slide. The boys loved it!
