Halloween 2011

First we started with Halloween dinner.  Soup in a pumpkin bowl and mummies!

I thought I was creative at least. :

My football boys...
Really, I hope they don't like football.  It's just SOOO rough to me.

Jake and Luke at the school Parade... Go Cougars!

Love having my cowboy and cow around. Thanks mom for making the cowboy duds.
The kids love to play in them, and it's a great Halloween costume!

What a cute bunch of kids!
Watching them in action

And the 70's mom and dad to join the fun... We can't miss out on the dressing up right?  People in our ward think we are weird for sure... but we like to dress up for the ward party..
Who's the party pooper now, eh?

Violin Recital

Jake's halloween recital...  Love his teacher (my friend Shauna).

Jake hates to practice, but he is so good I don't want him to quit.  He might hate me when he's older, or he might be a great violinist... time will tell.  He is pretty much the most handsome little violinist I ever saw though!!!  FOR SURE.

Taylor's dream of owning a RAZOR

One last adventure before the snow comes..  Taylor wants to buy a razor so bad... If only we had tons of money and no student debt... and a pool, and new carpet, and paint and couches...  then, it would be the next thing I'd want to buy!!  But it was fun to rent for a day. :)  We took it up from Heber up the backside of timpanogos mountain.

We found a cool little fort made in the trees...  A good little stop over for exploring.

All these boys are too cute.  Luke upper right.    Jake Upper Left.  Sam to the right and Nate Below

What is exploring without taking a dip in a natural body of water.  it was freezing, so the swim was a quick one!

October Fun

The Cleggs moved to Texas this summer and we REALLY miss them.  Luckily, they have family and will come back and visit A LOT (I hope).  We decided to make a fun day and go to the kids FAVORITE place.  Chuck E. Cheese.  Look at all these kids and to think, our families started out SOO small..

Below is a picture of Holly and me with Spencer and Jacob.  In just 7 short years... we are way out numbered!  Good thing Shelby is around to add a little estrogen to the equation at least.

We tried to get out and enjoy the beautiful fall colors.  We took a family hike to Stuart Falls. Utah is beautiful in Fall.

And one quick picture of the 2 cute boys I get to hang out with all day.  I love how much they love each other.  I am one Lucky MOM!

Fall Sports -- SOCCER

I think the best thing about being a mom of boys is watching them play sports.  It's so fun to get out in the nice weather and watch them be active.  I love the fall-time just for that.

Jake above and Luke below.  Check out the awesome rainbow in Luke's picture!  Didn't even realize it was there until I looked at the picture.

2011 BIG races (maybe I should say LONG races)

L2R Tara, Kathryn Morrill, Me, Katie Pritchard, Heidi Galbraith (7mos prego)

Hobblecreek Half 2012  Time: 1:44:45  not bad for trying to take it easy (I thought I needed to save up for Pocatello so I could get a Boston qualifying time)
My spirits were really high at this point in my training....
And so it turns out I didn't need to save up, because I totally hit the wall in Idaho.  I got a PR but still not close to what I wanted  1:56:55.  There is still St. George this year right??

Just 4 weeks till my next race -- I can do better.  I can, I can!!
I'm still hopeful for St. George and in good spirits...
With a cheering group like this ... how could I not succeed!!
CUTE... little Lily Ann... LOVE HER!!  She and her sister might be the only daughters I get...

Thank you Heather for supplying me with a Coke.  I am ready to die at this point!!

Below: pictures of me coming around the last corner.  Thanks mom for being there to support along with Taylor and the Boys!

You can see the icyhot on my legs.. because once again... I thought they were going to fall off. :)

One little wave for good measure.  I finished... that's a good thing right?

So -- back to the drawing board.  This race time was worse than Pocatello.  I didn't hit the wall like I did there, but kind of just was out of juice about mile 20... hmmmm  3:59:58  still hit the sub 4hour mark and I am happy about that.

We'll be back next year!!!
