Field trips and LPM

Trying to get a few last minute events in before baby comes!

 I love the kindergarten Aquarium field trip.  It's so cool to have these attractions so close.  Nate and Mimi loved seeing all the fish.  They especially loved the shark tunnel.

 AND - Our Lets Play Music Recital happened just 2 days before baby too! 

 Nate was so cute.  He played his "I'm an Indian" on the piano perfectly.  On our way to the recital, Sam threw up, so we turned around and took him home.  Nate had to represent.  Thanks Miss Shea for 2 years of LPM with these cute boys!

 Nate is my tender heart and made sure he brought Sam his award and balloon.  What a nice brother!!

Taylor's pretty Cool

This my friends is going to be a bit of a brag fest for me about Taylor.  He is basically the cream of the crop.  No matter where he starts, he always rises.

This award is not given to many, and of course Taylor didn't tell anyone about it. It's called the Marriot School Research award. 

 Taylor has gotten several research (and teaching) awards from his department, but this one was for the whole business school. 

 One of Taylor's colleagues talked for a few minutes about Taylor and then the Dean of the business school as well as the President of the school were there to present the award.

I am so grateful for a husband that cares about doing well in all areas of his life.  I am so happy we are here at BYU.  It has been a great career move for Taylor and he is killing it!  But, I'm not surprised.  :)

Mom's 70!!

I think I have the youngest most active 70 year old mom around!  Seriously, I can't believe she is 70 but so glad I have her around to gleen from all her 70 years of wisdom.

We had fun having a semi-surprise party for her.  It was only semi a surprise because she knew we were doing something, but just not any of the details.  It turned out perfectly.

Andrea made the best invitations (I wish I had a copy of one!).  Annalee headed up the decorations.  Good thing she has had to plan a wedding already, we used all her beautiful decor!

Lonny made the best video celebrating Mom's life.  It was so fun to see all she has done over the years.  She really is the most creative person around!  I loved all her birthday cakes especially!

Of course, the cousins just loved hanging out with each other.  Cousins make the BEST friends!

and for about 30 seconds, we all were there for a family picture!!  Everyone except our missionaries: Kason, Kaden and Tyler!  We missed them, but were so grateful for the fun evening celebrating mom.  We are so lucky to have her as the matriarch of this great family legacy.

April Pics and Spring Break

Spring, means BYU RUGBY.  The Nadaulds have been indoctrinated to LOVE the crazy sport of Rugby.  I have to say, it is kind of fun to have a family sport that is a little unique though.  It's fun to get the cousins together and head out to a Rugby game.  Usually they get to be ball boys because Uncle Justen still has those type of connections!

 We just love Kate 2.  We sure hope it works out with Nick and Her because she is already part of the family.  We may have to kick him out if it comes to choosing between the two.  ;)  Kate has always been so fun with all the kids.  Here is a fun Sunday afternoon picture of Kate entertaining all the kiddos with snapchat.

Oh, and Easter came a little too fast for the 1st grade teachers this year.. SO, they celebrated the Monday after.  No worries.  Any day is a great day for parties in school! below is Sam and his buddy Brydger Christensen.

 The neighbors got some cute little chicks and Mimi thought they were pretty great!

We FINALLY bought bikes and for spring break, we took a few family bike rides.  Um.. look at the weather.  It's fabulous right now!!

Nate is 6

Wow!  This little guy is not so little.  6 years and he couldn't be happier to celebrate another year!

He was super stoked about breakfast in bed!  here is our favorite things about Nate video:

His choice of dinner with mom and dad was McDonalds.  Look how pleased he is to have both our attention undivided! 

 The one thing he REALLY wanted was Heelys.  Lucky boy.  He got just what he asked for.

 He go to have playgroup the day of his birthday, but we waited to celebrate party style on the weekend so Dad could help wrangle the kids with me.  I love his little friends.

 NINJA NATE!  he really wanted me to add "ninja" to his cake, but I only managed Nate. :( mom fail.. 

 However -- there were a lot of firsts for me and his party.  I learned how to make balloon swords, fondant (and put it on the cake), AND oragami ninja stars.  All pretty easy, surprisingly..

 We sure love our NINJA NATE.  He is our baby boy and he really takes that calling to heart.  He is just a happy go lucky kiddo.  He LOVES screen time, but he is also a super creative and fun friend.  He always needs a buddy to keep him entertained.  Lately, Mimi has been that buddy and I LOVE it.  She loves him and asks for him all day when he is at school.  He is also mom's little buddy.  If dad has too many boys with the 3 olders, Nate will gladly be my sidekick and stay back.  I don't know how long that will last.  But, I love hanging out with him!  Happy birthday Nate.  We sure love you and are so grateful you are in our family.

Kindy Indy 2016

Kindy Indy Time

 One of the things I really didn't like was the introduction of Kindy Indy into the Kindergarten Curriculum.  However, Sam and Nate have both loved making their cars and it is pretty cute to see them "driving" around the school.

Mimi and I have been Nate's biggest fan all year long.  She has come with me to help in all the classroom parties and it's super fun to have a cute little sidekick.  I need to take advantage of our one on one time, because coming soon that won't be happenin!

Easter 2016

Another BEAUTIFUL Easter Sabbath this year.  We have early Church so we woke up and went to church and then came home to have a little Easter egg hunt.

 The boys all got new tanks from the Easter bunny and although they all look a little white trash, they were excited for spring attire.

 Mimi was pretty excited about finding and eating as much candy as possible ALL DAY.

 They boys all got one gold egg that has as much money as they are old... But dad does a pretty good job at hiding those eggs.  Luke is using his climbing skills below to get his.

What a wonderful time of year.  Spring is my favorite season.  It gives me a sense of hope that the cold is going away for a bit and we get to enjoy the beautiful outdoors again without freezing to death.  I love the blossoms and green grass.  I'm so thankful to our Savior who made rebirth possible and that even when we have dark times in life, there is a promise of brighter days ahead.  Happy Easter!

Fun filled March

 The month started off with some piano recitals. 

 Jake and Luke both got superior on their competition pieces and Jake got selected to move on to the next round of competition.  He had to miss due to a basketball game, but I was proud of these boys.  They spent a lot of time memorizing and perfecting their pieces.

 The temple open house and dedication were highlights in March.  The youth all participated in the cultural celebration and it was AMAZING.  We are so lucky to have such a beautiful Temple (I guess I should say 4 beautiful temples) right in our county.  The story and history in this temple makes it even more special to local provo residents and we are so lucky to have the blessing in our life too.

 I made another trip to St. George with just the little kids to attend Millie's baptism and get some stuff accomplished for my Mom's upcoming 70th birthday party.  We made a stop at the Cedar Farm to see Lincoln and Lindsay's family.  WHAT A FUN PLACE!!!

 Then we had Heather's family come stay a couple days with us while Laura competed in a Cheer competition in Salt Lake City.

 Can't forget these robotics masters (Jarom Miller and Jake) that won their school level competition and get to move on to the next level.  Pretty amazing they programed these bots to go just by clapping and talking to them.

And one last ski trip for Porter's Birthday celebration and Luke was SUPER happy to miss school in order to participate.  What would we do without family?

We've hit a few Rugby games this season and the boys were lucky enough to be ball boys for a couple games.  They just love what dad loves.  We benefit from Uncle Justen being game commentator for sure!

We can't forget the Sage Creek School talent show.  Sam played "I'm an Indian" on the piano for his class talent show, but his whole class performed the waltz for the school show.  It was super cute to watch all the first graders with partners! Look at this handsome boy below.

Or the Kindy Indy for hobble Creek Kindergarteners.  Isn't Nate the cutest little bug.  He is having a hard time adjusting to not being the baby, but his just such a cute little guy... I kind of don't want him to grow up!

 It's always a pain to make these cars, but the kids have such a blast showing them off to the whole school.  I guess I'll support it for a couple more kids, at least. :)

 I don't have too many pregnancy pictures this time, so I guess I'll throw this in there.  Mimi's favorite position is to sit front and center on my belly.  She is going to be disappointed when it's gone.  I on the other hand, will not! :)
