Hobblecreek Half 2012 Time: 1:44:45 not bad for trying to take it easy (I thought I needed to save up for Pocatello so I could get a Boston qualifying time)
My spirits were really high at this point in my training....
And so it turns out I didn't need to save up, because I totally hit the wall in Idaho. I got a PR but still not close to what I wanted 1:56:55. There is still St. George this year right??
Just 4 weeks till my next race -- I can do better. I can, I can!!
I'm still hopeful for St. George and in good spirits...
With a cheering group like this ... how could I not succeed!!
CUTE... little Lily Ann... LOVE HER!! She and her sister might be the only daughters I get...
Thank you Heather for supplying me with a Coke. I am ready to die at this point!!
Below: pictures of me coming around the last corner. Thanks mom for being there to support along with Taylor and the Boys!
You can see the icyhot on my legs.. because once again... I thought they were going to fall off. :)

One little wave for good measure. I finished... that's a good thing right?
So -- back to the drawing board. This race time was worse than Pocatello. I didn't hit the wall like I did there, but kind of just was out of juice about mile 20... hmmmm 3:59:58 still hit the sub 4hour mark and I am happy about that.
We'll be back next year!!!
