And some pictures from the first days home..

The boys...
Taylor is looking a little tired... imagine if he actually had to get up at night with the baby!!  Actually, I have to give Taylor props.  He has been so patient with the boys and has taken over Sam.. So nice.
First bath went as well as could be expected. It's cold out there!

Thanks mom for coming and spending your birthday with us and the new baby.  The first week flew by and I'm actually getting some sleep (thanks to my mom letting me nap every day!).
Sam has been SOOO cute with the baby.  He loves him and is so gentle.  When I say be gentle, he pets his head like a dog.  And he loves to hug him... it doesn't matter if he is even touching the baby, he just lays his head down wherever he is and hugs.
My nephew had a rugby game in South Jordan so my sister came up and visited for a night.  Here she is with her cute baby Lily.  She is so big already, I hope Nathan stays little for a while.  The time goes too fast!!  My brother and his family came from Ogden and we all went to dinner for my mom's birthday.  What a fun night.  Thanks everyone for visiting!!
Help take 2 was with Taylor's mom.  Yet another lifesaver who allowed me lots of rest and relaxation!
She entertained the boys and I just sat around for another week!
It was fun to have Grandpa for a few days too.  When the boys saw Margaret, they asked straight away where Grandpa was.
The weather was beautiful and Grandpa helped jake with his baseball throw..  He's had a lot of practice playing catch with little boys!
We love you Grandmas and Grandpa!  Thanks for coming to help us with the new baby.  It saved me!!

Heading Home

After a short 48 hours, we were headed home to try it on our own.....

Well, not really on our own.  My mom was there for the first full week!  What a lifesaver.  She also brought the cutest matching outfits for the boys to wear home.  Jake was very excited to get new cloths!
Once again, it was quite the circus getting everyone out the door.
But we did it.. and we made it home safely..
Nathan forced himself to stay asleep through the chaos!  Smart little kid. :)

Just a few Hospital picts.... Just a few :)

Our sweet Baby Boy..
I am calling to tell the boys.  Luke announced in sharing time at church that today was "Baby Time."  They were both so excited to hear the news.
grandma Heaton and Nathan
Aunt Heather and Nathan
Check out the Black hair.. We've never had one this dark before.
Cute hat -- but it wouldn't stay on.
Meeting Big Brothers for the first time..
They loved him immediately
Our little family... but wait, where is Sam??? Oh yeah, being CRAZY.
He loved the curtains, and remotes and buttons...
He wasn't AS excited about the baby.  He was happy to get a little cuddle time with mommy though.
And after the boys visit ... I was ready for a snooze.. so was Nathan.

We are so glad to have you in our family Nathan.  We can't wait to see if your hair stays black, and if you smile as much as your brothers!  We love you!!

Nathan's Earth Debut

Daddy's boy!
Mommy's Baby!!
He arrived at 12:52 pm on Sunday April 11th
We were glad the doctor didn't drop Nathan as he FLIPPED him into the care station!
Doctor Nance was great, but he sure seemed uncomfortable handling babies. :)
Nathan Dyreng Nadauld measured 23 inches by the Nurses measurements.... Only 21 1/2 by mine. We'll go with 22 as a safe medium - have you ever heard of a 23 inch baby? not from me!
8 pounds 9 ounces

We love you already Nathan.

We really are ready for a new baby....

So, another induction. I don't know why I hate being induced, but it is what it is. :) We woke up early in the morning and were at the hospital by 6:30am. Today is the day our baby number 4 is going to be born.
Gained my usual ton during pregnancy!!
Taylor enjoyed the day. He got to watch the masters and eat my food while I was in labor.
Anytime now...
My mom and sister were both there to welcome Nathan here. This was the first time my sister was able to be at the birth of one of my kids. Thanks for making the drive!!
Don't we look ready???

Getting Ready for BABY #4

So -- I was convinced earlier today I would have this baby tomorrow. But since I've had zero contractions since my doctor's visit, I am getting doubtful. I guess that is how it always is -- they just come when they are ready. :)

I am just going to write my thoughts about having this baby before he is born -- it's just for keepsake purposes. In fact, if I were a blog reader, I would skip over this post... It'll be boring.

This pregnancy has flown by! We have been so busy getting settled in a new house and neighborhood. Sam has turned out to be my most active 1 year old yet and we are a little nervous about this baby's survival chances with him around! Poor Sam doesn't know what is going to hit him. He is so tender hearted, spirited, and such a momma's boy!! We just love all of our boys. Lately, Jake has been having attitude problems. He's always been so sweet and helpful, I hope he snaps out of it soon - this baby will need his loving care. :) Luke is turning into the sweet helper around here. He doesn't like to do much on his own (I have to help him get dressed, put on shoes and socks, etc, but is so willing to do "favors" for mom whenever I ask. Taylor has been more nervous than me for this baby, but just the last couple days has started getting excited. I think it's hard not to get excited, especially when you know how sweet they are. I love the fresh from Heaven feeling with a newborn around, and I think everyone feels it.

I am pretty ready for this baby -- I wasn't even kind of prepared until 2 weeks ago my NESTING totally kicked in! I have my house all organized and just need to mop floors and clean bathrooms tomorrow. We get our pack n play and crib sometime this week... I tell you, I was pretty last minute on all the decorating this time around.

I can't wait to meet our little guy! I am excited to sit and hold a newborn again. My due date is not for another week, but I just think he is ready to come -- that's what I'm telling myself and hopefully that will induce labor!! We'll see... I will post when the actual event happens!!
