Andrew's Blessing Day

What a special Sunday.  Having our Family and some close friends surround us in support of our little caboose.  It's been hard to have a newborn.  But oh, we sure love him.  He is super cute, just like the other boys and I can't wait to see him grow up.

 We once again had a great circle of priesthood holders to help welcome Drew into the world.

I'm so lucky to have my mom around and so involved and invested in our her kids lives.  And, likewise, Taylor's parents are always there when we need them.  I love learning from each of our parents and hoping to be 1/2 as good as them with my own kids.

 Oh my, what a cutie patootie.  He's so sweet when he's not screaming!

 I didn't do much decorating, but my neighbor/friend Kathryn has the best yard and so I borrowed her daisys and a cute blue vase from her and called it good for the day!

 Just a couple cute shots.  One of Mimi and her little live doll.  She has a special little love for her baby "JuJu" (I think the name devrives from Drew Drew but she can't quite pronounce the D R.  thus JuJu was born)

 
Taylor's blessing was really sweet.  He always is so thoughtful for these things.  Funny little note is that he blessed Drew to be good at math and economics and science.  So I hope we have us a real genius here! :) I have visions of Drew and Taylor being best little buddies in the future. 

 My oldest Brother Kirk has a grandson just a month before Drew was born.  I've always felt like his girls were my own and it's been fun that Syd and I have baby boys the same age.  Andrew will be the youngest grandchild, so it worked out perfectly that I get a great nephew for him to play with at family functions. 

All in All, another great day in the Nadauld home.

4th of July

These yahoos are living the summer up.  Jake worked a week at the ranch this summer and so on the front end of the trip we let him hang out in St. George for a couple days with cousins.

 Love when my boys get put to work in others homes.  It's so good for them to see others have to work hard too~

 So, since the big boys were down south, I got to hang with the little three for the holiday. I even bought 4th of July cloths for them all this year.  We decided to go to Heber and hang out with Taylor's family.  Mimi was super enchanted with the sparklers.  Look how sweet her face is!!! Oh I love her so much.

 This little chubbers is 3 months old.  Time is flying..

so, this poor kid finally gets his cast off.  We feel so bad he had to have a broken arm for so long without us doing anything to help him.  He's a tough cookie.  That's for sure.  Can you tell how excited he is to get it off? VERY!

 This little princess thought it was pretty cool that Dr. Kathryn gave her a bandage for her hand too. And it even matches her cute jumper she's wearing.  We do wounds in style at our house.  But luckily, she wasn't really wounded.  Having one kid on the IL is bad enough.

And, Since we are talking about Mimi for a second, look how CUTE this video is of her jabbering.  I can't believe how verbal she is.  She isn't even two yet. I thought I could upload through blogger, but just click below and see it on YouTube instead.  It's kind of long. :)

Mimi's Almost 2....

 These cute boys were "BIG" enough to ride the shuttle without an adult this year.  It was so fun after the ranch, to have Gavin come hang for a few days.  He's always bright with ideas and my boys are never bored around him.  We sure love Gavin.

 Unfortunately, we didn't do so well at keeping Gavin safe.  The first night they got here, they were playing rugby in the front yard and luke stepped on Gavins thumb.  Yup. Broken. Bad. UGH!!!  My dang boys are too rough!!

Gavin got a splint to keep him okay until he could take the shuttle BACK to St. George and really get a specialist to cast it.  Well, cuz it was fun while it lasted up here in Springville.

 We had some chinese students here for a week and Heather and I helped in a Chinese class all week. One of the activities was going to 7 peaks.  We love us the waterpark.  That's for sure.

I hosted a whole heard while we had a fun cooking class at my house.  Yummy American home made ice cream.  A lot of sugar for these Taiwanese kids!

We met a very cute Taiwanese lady who hopefully will return soon.  She taught me how to make yummy chinese pancakes.

 And sweet littlest bug sleeping while we had a house full of Chinese guests. Still super cute and not sleeping at nights.  which inevitably makes me like him less. :( come on boy. grow out of it already!!

Oceanside - Our little piece of Heaven

We look forward to our family beach trip every summer!!  Somehow, it never disappoints!

 The view from our balcony. We spent all our meals sitting out here enjoying the serenity of the waves.  How is it that you can watch the ocean for hours and never get bored!?

 I absolutely love staying in North Coast Village, because we get to enjoy the beach and sand but also the warm clean pool and hot tub too.  I tell ya, a perfect balance!!

 I love watching Nate and Mimi play.  He is almost 5 years older, but he gets her and she loves him!  They hung out most the time together on the beach and in the condo.

 So funny how Sam (who is really just a year older than Nate) relates more to the big boys.  He idolized them and tries to keep up as much as possible.  These pictures are of snorkling at lajoia cove. Look closely below you can see the seals on the rocks catching some rays.

 The next few pictures are of my mom and the kids.  We are lucky when it works out for her to come with us.  She's the best traveler.  She's chill and SOOO helpful and the kids LOVE to have her around. 

 She's up for anything and always boogie boards and swims and plays at the beach with us.

 Best Grandma around.  And she always makes a point to take us to Ruby's Diner at some point during our stay.  How Appropriate!! :)

 One of my favorite things is to ride the big wagon bikes on the boardwalk.  PS - could Mimi be any cuter in that picture below?

 Mom and Drew - Not as bad as I imagined with the new born.  He's liking the beach, so I guess he's allowed to stay a member of the family!

And Mimi is pretty lucky too, because he is totally wrapped around her pinky!  How cute is her hat and diaper bum?

We made it the whole week with just a few extra entertainment items: The mormon Battalion, the swap meet, and the movies.

 I wish it wouldn't come to an end.  I guess we'll just get excited for next year when we get to come again!! So long Oceanside 2016!
