Luke's music recital and Kindergarten Graduation

Let's Play Music Recital... A great little program to introduce music notes and theory to kids..  We were glad that Porter was in our class to make it a bit more fun!!  Way to go boys.

Next up -- Kindergarten Graduation.  Luke did so awesome in kindergarten.  We were planning on keeping him in kindergarten next year, but his teacher thinks he would be too bored because he did such a great job.  He is young, but I guess it will work out right?  He just seems so much older than the kids in coming into preschool -- I can't imagine him in that age group.  I'm glad he did so well this year... only a couple days of crying because he wanted to be home with me. :)
Luke saying his part.
I love these cute paper graduation hats the kids wore.

Luke must have seen some older kids throw their hats -- he was the only one to do it.
And of course, Nate was there to cheer him on...

Luke and Porter were in the same class.  Luke loves Porter.  I hope they always stay close friends.  We sure loved Mrs. christensen.  She was Jake's teacher too.. we'll miss her.  Hopefully, she'll be around when Sam makes it to Kindergarten

Just the 4 kiddos

Just some snapshots of the photo shoot.  My friend Nicole took real pictures, but she moved to vegas and has the drive in storage that my pictures are on.. I hope we'll get them someday, but for now, you can see how cute they are with my amateur camera and skills.

Luke and Jake

What a good daddy to put up with pictures.  He HATES them, and yet, he is such a good sport.  Most the Time! :)

I sure love my boys..

It's weird how each year, my baby gets bigger!!  This year, he wanted a football party.  It was pretty easy -- we just did football drills and a football game for our fun time.  This was the cake I made...

...well, maybe Grandma helped a little. :)  It was pretty easy this year though.
Football cake-pops and a football game cake.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Race for the CURE~
My sweet sister in law Stacy was diagnosed with Breast Cancer this last fall.  It kind of rocked my idea that nothing bad ever can ever happen.  She is the first person I've known that I'm close to with this disease, and it is sooo scary.
She is SUCH an inspiration though.  I have learned so much watching her go through this trial.  She is beautiful and strong and such a  spiritual giant.  I am so glad to call her family!

So glad my mom could come do the run/walk with us. She loves Stacy too.  (Our shirts say Super Hero Stacy).

A couple Easter shots...

Kind of boring pictures.  But the weather was great and boys got out to search for eggs.  Easter is kind of a weird holiday for me.  I obviously am a fan of the true meaning and learning more about the Atonement and specifically the resurrection of the Savior.   I'm just wondering how everything has to turn into presents and candy...

Hmmm  we need to work on that. :)

MY BOYS

Here they are in all their glory.  Taylor has been paintballing a lot recently as "part of his calling" to interact with the young men more. :)  He is YM president and does a fabulous job.  The YM love him, that's for sure.  He is really just one big kid himself.

Anyway -- Jake and Luke CANNOT wait till they are old enough to join in. We got them airsoft guns this year (in hopes to tide them over until they are 10), and it's almost as fun... for now.  Sam got a water gun and Nate has a click gun and they are all happy shooters!!

I just can't get over how fun it is to be a mom of boys... There is NEVER a dull moment at the Nadauld home.

Nate's Turning 1

My Grandma is turning 99 this summer.  Isn't that amazing? She has always been such a great example of good attitude and love towards others.  We sure love her and will take as many more days as we can get with her.

Nate turned 1 while we were in St. George and so Grandma Hafen got to celebrate his birthday with us.

Nathan -- happy birthday!  We are so glad we have you in our family.  You are a sweet loveable little boy with beautiful eyes.
 Yummy cupcake
He's starting to get the idea of presents.. they are so much fun!

Nathan is 1

My baby is ONE... What a sweet 1 year old he is.  Nathan has been a joy to our family since his birth.  he has been so good to go with the flow and is always entertained by his brothers.  Not quite walking, no words... but a TON of smiles.

He dug right into the cake... YUM!

Thanks grandma for letting us celebrate in St. George with cousins.  It was a great day for little Nate.

A fun photo with my family and Grandma Heaton and Grandma Hafen.  My Grandma Hafen is the sweetest lady around.  She is turning 99 in a couple months and I can't believe how much she does still.  I am convinced this women is going to live forever and that's great by me.  We love you Grams!

Jake's Character matters

Jake had his 1st grade play tonight "Character Matters" and he was SUPER cute.  He was the prince.  He was nervous to be the prince, because he didn't think it was "Cool."  But he did a great job.  Handsome as ever!
 The prince and sleeping beauty.
Love this boy and that he is always trying his best.  So fun to go to a school play with your kids in it.  It was our first one and hopefully we'll have many more.  Good job Jakers.

APRIL FOOLS ..

I'm sure you can't tell... but the spaghetti is white cake covered in stringy frosting with chocolates in strawberry jam for the meatballs. The peas are runts and the carrots are cut up orange starbursts. The best part is the dessert cupcake -- it's meatloaf cupcake with potato frosting -- cool eh? My kids thought it was so fun. April fools is a holiday I hope to make fun for my kids each year!!
