So, we had some scheduling issues with Taylor leaving to Singapore on the baby's actual due date, so we had to have an induction. But what day? well, we only had one day that would work for Taylor (he had to be in California to present for Visible Equity before Singapore). And it happened to be the best day for our favorite OB nurse Kathryn! I'll post more picts of the delivery when I can get them all downloaded from Taylor's phone. What an exciting day! Birth Day's really make me nervous, but it's so fun too. Nothing is more spiritual than having a baby and holding them in your arms for the first time.
As you can see, I'm about to POP! I gained a whopping 50 pounds with this baby girl and you can tell.

I was able to fit in a fun pedicure and got my toe nails painted just for this girlie occassion

We really live in such a BEAUTIFUL state. Our room had an amazing view (thanks to the best OB nurse ever). Which was nice, because we got to look at it for much longer than I expected!
I kind of get nervous for delivery day, but looking back, they are pretty fun. Especially with an epidural. :) a day with just me and Taylor and the excitement of a new little bundle soon to be in our arms. It's an adventure for sure, but this time around I was much more at ease. I think mainly due to having this super nurse at my side all day!
Kathryn was the best. We were lucky to have her, since she was just weeks away from quitting and becoming a Nurse Practitioner at a family practice in Springville. Luckily, it is our family practice so I'll see her a lot there... I hope! She was awesome though, really. I wish I could have had all my babies with her helping.
Well... she FINALLY decided to get here, 10 hours after we started pitocin and she is SOOO beautiful. I love her already! With the boys, I really didn't bond with them until a few days, but this little girl stole my heart from her first little whimper. I can't describe how great it is to hold a baby again.
She weighed in at a good 8pounds (really 7 pounds 15 ounces and 6 tenths of an ounce, but they round to 16 ounces, which makes it 8 even!) 19 1/2 inches long at 5:26 pm. So glad she is here!
Welcome little one! we love you already. Taylor and I both get a little emotional at delivery, and finally getting to hold the baby in my arms is SOO comforting. This picture below is our first glances at our beautiful princess. I still can't believe it's a girl!
A couple NewBorn shots below:
She's got us wrapped around her finger already. A little bit of heaven right here in our arms.
Super Nurse Kathryn and babe!
Did I mention we had the best nurse ever!
So glad baby decided to hurry and get here just minutes before Kathryn finished her shift at 6pm. Kat still was nice enough to stay a little late to finish up... THANK YOU!!!Another lady to thank is Dr. Donna. She was a perfect doctor for us. She is so chill and just easy to be around. You never feel like anything will go wrong when she's in charge. It's very reassuring to have some one so confident in the delivery room. We love Dr. Bennett.
We had quite a few visitors and I tried to get pictures of them all... here's a few.
Mom and sister were there all day with us. And we all about went crazy!
Steve and Margaret stopped by during our long day and then came back just minutes after baby was born. So glad to have them close enough to pop in and out more regularly now. This lucky baby has a lot of people who love her.
Nina stopped by a few times and was able to see Naomi just a few hours old. We are going to share this baby girl, because after her 4 (and done) boys, she needs a girl too!!! I would totally do the same if she was the one having the girl.
Of course, cute Jennifer came to say hi and hold baby for a bit in between her busy schedule of shuttling kids around!
Thanks Amber for the yummy kneaders lunch and cookies... so fun to see you and the other little girls in my life. They are the best!
Below is my sweet niece Kate. I'm hoping she will be my Nanny since she just lives around the corner. My boys LOVE her and I'm sure Mimi will too. (I guess to be fair I need to mention that Steve and Stacy (and her awesome mom) stopped by too.. I just didn't get their pictures!)
We just can't get enough of this sweet baby! The boys were so excited to see her, they came before she was even allowed back in my room, but luckily they could steal a glance from the window.
They are so interested in a baby. They all fight over who gets to hold her.
Jake,
Luke,
Sam,

Nate,
They are sneaking a peak at her cute little footsies. My favorite body part of newborns.
Even Taylor is learning how to love a baby girl.
I mean, she makes it pretty easy because she is just so darn cute. :)
PERFECT, PERFECT
I'm not sure if our family is complete, but it sure is perfect. I love each of these kiddos more than anything. They make life a real blessing. They adore their baby sister and will be great protectors to her forever I'm sure. I am so lucky and grateful for the family I have.
