Halloween

Adam and Eve made appearances again this year.  As always, a big hit! :)

Fall Violin recital

Jake is getting pretty good.  It's a battle to practice, but once he does -- he likes it.  I have become the hated mom that makes her kids do lessons every morning before school.  I guess I have to get used to not being liked around here!  Bummer for me.

 

He got a little confused at the start, but finished strong.  Way to go Jacob...  Can't wait to see the difference in next year's recital!

Hiking with the Brostroms

On such a beautiful Fall day, we couldn't stay inside.  We went for a hike with our best of friends, the Brostroms.  We drove up American Fork Canyon and did a little 3 mile hike.  The views were AMAZING.

 The boys had to stop a few times to catch their breath.  But .... we finally made it to a pretty waterfall on quite the death cliff.  The view was amazing, but we couldn't enjoy it too long, because we we all panicked someone was going to fall.

Luke is mad in this picture because he lost his treasured pocket knife on the hike.  He didn't have pockets, so put it on his head, under his hat -- it fell out. :( 

Pupkin Patch

Every year we try to go pick out our pumpkins at a pumpkin farm.  I think 5 out of the last 6 years we have gone with the Brostroms (either in Ohio, or Utah).  This year we made it easy for the men and Nina and I went without them to a fun nursery that had pumpkins for sale. This kids had a lot of fun in the maze -- although we got lost a couple times.

And then we had a fun family night carving.  I took a picture of the finished pumpkins, but I guess I deleted it.  Bummer, they were cute -- as always. :)

Preview of HEBER

Grandpa Nadauld is creating a dream for all us Nadaulds.  A place to all gather together in Heber City Utah.  It's supposed to be done in Spring 2011, and we can't wait.  Until the home is finished, we get to check on it and eat at some fun Heber Restaurants and visit park city.  The following are a few pictures of the Apline Slides -- SUPER FUN.

The Marathon -- At least I finished....right??

The hardest part about a marathon is all the time it takes to train. Thanks to Taylor I went on many hours of running sessions. He some how managed to keep the kids entertained (and alive) every time. I'm so grateful he lets me do this, I know it's a pain in the toosh!

A shot of crossing the finish line. The time isn't that great, we are walking, we are dead tired... But at least we made it. Next year, when I'm not nursing a 5 month old, and it's not 100 degree's out -- my time BETTER be improved!

My mom is the best -- she brought my kids over early and did the Mayor's Walk. They loved it... Well, Jake loved running, Luke survived because grandma pulled him along.

One of the BEST parts of the race was training with friends. I would have died if I didn't have Nina to run with every weekend over the summer, and it was so fun to run with Amber during the race (her and Mike flew from Ohio to do the race). Even though Holly is MUCH faster them me, it was fun to talk about training and get ready for the big day together.

Love these pictures of the finish. Taylor took the one on the left and was very bugged at the guy on the right getting in the way of photographing me and Amber. It wasn't until several days later he realized it was MIKE getting carried across the finish line. That heat wasn't good for any of our times! :)

Mike (along with MANY marathoners that day) suffered some dehydration, but a few days in CABO with some major R&R fixed us all right up.

Labor Day Activities

Our Labor Day started with very good intentions... My brother had just purchased a Polaris extended cab ranger for the ranch, but was keeping it at our house until he could bring a trailer up to transport it. We loaded all the kids (with seatbelts) a big cooler with food and some camping chairs and headed up hobblecreek canyon for some fun.

But... in Nadauld style, we broke the borrowed item. Note: don't ever loan anything to us! It was just a minor break down, but we were only 1 mile into the trip and had to abort.

We ended up driving our car up to a campsite and enjoying our picnic food.... (much less exciting for Taylor), but all in all pretty fun!

I love Soccer Season.  The weather is great and I love to see my boys running around. What a fun sport.

First Day of School 2010!

Jake has ALWAYS loved school. Even from the days of preschool and playgroup. He is our little All-Star student. His teachers love him and think he is such a fun student to have around. I hope this continues and he can pass on his love for learning to his brothers.

Luke has a late birthday and we totally planned to keep him in preschool one more year. The day before school started, We changed our minds. It was so stressful, but I hope we did the right thing. He loves going and his teacher thinks we made the right choice. We'll see. He is one funny dude... You can see his personality from his poses!

I love the bus. It gives me an extra hour of free time each day (without having to leave the house!). The boys think they are so big when they take a football to the stop and play with the 6th graders.. I wonder how long that will last and the big boys get annoyed with them! :)

And this is who I get to hang out with now the big boys are gone!  Aren't they the cutest ever!!  I just love these little boys SOOO much.  Look at those faces.  So darling.

And, they are so helpful with my couponing! I am so lucky to have them around! :)

We were lucky to have Grandma and Grandpa in town for T's b-day party. It was ragin' if you can't tell. :) We are so lucky to have a daddy that is so fun, smart, talented and such a great provider for our family. We love you Taylor!
